International WingTsun Association (“IWTA”, “we”, “us”, “our”) Last updated: 2026-08-01

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of www.leungting.com (the “Website”), including browsing content, viewing class schedules and demo videos, and purchasing products through our online shop (the “Shop”). By using the Website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Us

IWTA is registered in Hong Kong, with its registered address at “1/F Rear, Tang’s Mansion, 438 Nathan Road, Yau Ma Tei, Kowloon, Hong Kong SAR, China”. These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong.

2. Website Content

All text, photos (including historical photographs), videos, and articles on the Website are owned by IWTA or used with permission or under licence, and are protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or use this content commercially without our prior written consent.
Class schedules, event details, and articles are provided for general information and may change without notice.
Demo videos and historical materials are provided for educational and promotional purposes only.

3. Products and Orders

The Shop sells physical goods, including kung fu books, videos, and clothing (“Products”).
Product descriptions, images, and prices are provided in good faith but may occasionally contain errors; we reserve the right to correct these and to cancel any order affected by a pricing or listing error, with a full refund.
Order acceptance: Your order is an offer to purchase. A contract is only formed when we send you a confirmation email or notice that your order has been accepted and payment has been successfully processed by Airwallex. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order (e.g. suspected fraud, stock unavailability), in which case any payment collected will be refunded.

4. Prices and Payment

All prices are displayed in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD) and are subject to change without notice (changes will not affect orders already confirmed).
Payments are processed securely through Airwallex, our third-party payment service provider. We accept Visa, Mastercard, WeChat Pay, Alipay, Google Pay, and PayPal (subject to availability). We do not store your payment card or e-wallet credentials.
You confirm that any payment information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to use the chosen payment method.
Currency conversion fees, if any, are determined by Airwallex or your card issuer/bank and are outside our control.

5. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the lowest available courier rate plus a handling buffer to cover packaging and processing.
Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs, courier carriers, or events outside our control.
International orders: you are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs clearance fees charged by your destination country. These are not included in the shipping cost calculated at checkout.
Risk in the Products passes to you upon delivery to the address you provided. Title passes once full payment has been received.
Please ensure your shipping address is complete and correct; we are not liable for non-delivery due to incorrect address details provided by you.

6. Cancellations and Changes

You may request to cancel or amend an order before it has been shipped by contacting iwtahk@gmail.com Once an order has shipped, our Refund & Return Policy applies.

7. Organisational Structure - Instructors and Franchises

The IWTA operates gyms directly in Hong Kong through its own instructors. Association-member schools operating outside Hong Kong are independently owned and operated franchisees licensed to teach under the IWTA name and Leung Ting WingTsun curriculum. Franchisees are independent businesses responsible for their own premises, staff, insurance, and day-to-day class safety. IWTA is not the employer of franchisee instructors and is not responsible for the acts, omissions, premises safety, or supervision decisions of any franchised school, except to the extent required by law. Any class booking or waiver for a franchised school may be governed by that franchisee’s own local terms in addition to these Terms - students should check with their local school.

8. Class Enrolment, Physical Risk, and Waiver

Wing Tsun and other martial arts training involve inherent physical contact and risk of injury, even when taught safely and supervised properly. This applies to adults, children, and mixed classes alike.
This website’s Terms are not a substitute for a signed waiver. Before attending any class (at an IWTA-operated gym or a franchised school), all students - or, for students under 18, their parent or legal guardian - must read and sign a separate, dedicated Liability Waiver and Assumption of Risk Form, provided at enrolment either physically or via the website’s enrolment process.
Instructors will use reasonable care to teach safely and supervise appropriately for the age and skill level of students, but cannot guarantee against injury.
To the fullest extent permitted by Hong Kong law (or, for franchised schools, the law of the local jurisdiction), IWTA and its instructors/franchisees are not liable for injury arising from ordinary risks of martial arts training, except where caused by gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or as otherwise required by law. This limitation does not apply where local law prohibits waiving liability for negligence (e.g. certain EU/US state consumer protection rules) - in such jurisdictions, liability is limited to the maximum extent the law allows.
Parents/guardians enrolling a child confirm they have authority to consent on the child’s behalf and to disclose any relevant medical conditions affecting the child’s participation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Hong Kong law, IWTA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the Website or Products.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under Hong Kong law (e.g. under the Sale of Goods Ordinance (Cap. 26) or Control of Exemption Clauses Ordinance (Cap. 71)).
Our total liability for any claim relating to a Product is limited to the price paid for that Product.

10. Third-Party Services

Our Website may link to or rely on third-party services (Airwallex, shipping couriers, social media platforms). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or performance of these third parties.

11. Prohibited Use

You agree not to misuse the Website, including attempting unauthorised access, uploading malicious code, or using the Shop for fraudulent transactions.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts, except that nothing in this Section removes any right you have under mandatory consumer protection law to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
