Youth Training Programme Phase II Launched — Nurturing the Next Generation

An intensive programme for students aged 16–25 has officially launched, combining physical conditioning, character development, and Wing Tsun etiquette. Designed by senior instructors to cultivate well-rounded Wing Tsun practitioners.

Programme Origins

The International WingTsun Association has always been dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Wing Tsun. The Youth Training Programme was born from Great Grandmaster Leung Ting's profound vision for nurturing the next generation — he believes Wing Tsun should be more than a martial art; it should be a way of life that shapes young people's character and values.

Phase I achieved encouraging results, with over 80% of participants continuing into advanced training after completing the programme. We are now delighted to announce the official launch of Phase II.

Curriculum Structure

Phase II spans six months across three stages:

  • Foundation Strengthening (Months 1–2): physical conditioning, Wing Tsun fundamentals, in-depth Siu Nim Tau study
  • Technical Progression (Months 3–4): Chum Kiu form, introduction to single and double Chi Sau, basic self-defence applications
  • Integrated Application (Months 5–6): free sparring, team coordination drills, martial virtue and etiquette curriculum
